Coming to bat at the number 5 spot, Stoinis was batting decently for his six runs. However, Jadeja had some other plans as bowled a perfect ball which turned to take the batters stumps. Jadeja did not complete his four overs spell as he gave away 11 runs in three overs which also included the wicket of Stoinis.
Meanwhile, Lucknow has posted 125/7 in 19.2 overs with youngster Ayush Badoni stroking a well-made fifty. Nicholas Pooran also stroked 20 runs in 31 balls but got out as soon as he was about to explode. Kyle Mayers played a knock of 14 runs.
For CSK, Moeen Ali, Maheesh Theekshana and Matheesha Pathirana scalped two wickets each. Apart from these three, Jadeja took one wicket of Stoinis. The Yellow Army will be backing itself to chase the total down and get two crucial points to move ahead in the points table.
