LSG Playing XI vs SRH – LSG vs SRH: The 10th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 will happen between Lucknow Super Giants and SunRisers Hyderabad. The contest will be played at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on Friday. The hosts LSG will look to bounce back against SRH after narrow 12-run defeat to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Monday. Lucknow Super Giants (Playing XI): KL Rahul(c), Kyle Mayers, Deepak Hooda, Marcus Stoinis, Nicholas Pooran(w), Romario Shepherd, Krunal Pandya, Amit Mishra, Yash Thakur, Jaydev Unadkat, Ravi Bishnoi

LSG have played Delhi Capitals (DC) and CSK in their opening two IPL 2023 games without Quinton de Kock. The LSG substituted Kyle Mayers for De Kock as the opener. Mayers was with LSG in 2022 as well, but he didn’t get to play because de Kock started alongside KL Rahul and was available for the full season.

The permutations and combinations of LSG Playing 11

When Mayers faced the Capitals in his IPL debut, he must have been aware that his spot in the team was only guaranteed until de Kock’s return. But fast-forward two matches, and it looks nearly impossible to drop in-form Mayers out of the playing XI.

The most significant statistic, though, is not Mayers’ 126 runs at an average of 63 with half-centuries in both games. With 210 strike rate in IPL 2023, the southpaw has helped his team get off to a flying start against both CSK and DC.

Now only one question remains that who will be dropped to make way for Quinton. To make one understand, the current SRH playing XI has Kyle Mayers, Marcus Stoinis, Nicholas Pooran, and Mark Wood as foreigners. With Mayers in top-form and Nicholas Pooran as wicket-keeper, Marcus Stoinis will be the one to make way for the South African star.

Mark Wood the premium pacer has made waves in IPL 2023 with his five-wicket haul and with Mayers who is also a capable bowler, the Aussie all-rounder Stoinis would have to leave his spot.

Also, if Quinny do get a spot in Playing XI, then it would be KL Rahul who would go down the order to bat at No 3.

The Super Giants still have a choice. They have the option to stick with the starting lineup from their previous match against CSK.
