Warner bowed out of Test cricket after the PAK vs AUS 3rd Test. The Aussies whitewashed Pakistan in their home ground and ensured Warner received a winning farewell. Warner played an instrumental part in Australia’s series win. The southpaw started the Test series in tremendous fashion, scoring 164 in the first innings of PAK vs AUS 1st Test. Warner made his last innings memorable too, scoring 57 of 75 balls.
David Warner and Stuart Broad enjoyed a great rivalry during their playing days. Although, Broad almost always came out on top in the battle in Tests. Broad has got Warner out 17 times in Tests. In the list of most dismissals of a batter by a bowler in Test cricket, Broad comes third for dismissing Warner. So it came as no surprise that Stuart Broad ‘loved’ the rivalry between them.
