Wasim Akram’s scathing remark over PSL 2024 playoffs

It was embarrassing to see no crowd in Karachi. There was no crowd, literally no crowd for last night’s match,” Akram said on A Sports.

Islamabad United to face Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 2024 Eliminator 2

Islamabad United have sealed their spot in the second eliminator to be held in Karachi on March 17. ISU defeated the Quetta Gladiators by 39 runs to take one step closer to lifting PSL 2024 cup. Shadab Khan’s men will now take on Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi in Eliminator 2.

Martin Guptill (56) began the fireworks as ISU batted first in the clash. While Alex Hales (23) and Shadab Khan (23) perished after short stints, the only noteworthy contribution from the bat came from Agha Salman (31).

It was then Imad Wasim’s turn to weave magic in the 2nd innings. The ISU spinner wreaked havoc on Quetta Gladiators batters, picking up three wickets. QTG captain Rilee Rossouw (5) was also one of Imad’s preys. The spinner finished with figures of 3/12 and was adjudged the Player of the Match.
