List of players bought by RTM card in IPL 2025 auction

Here’s the list of RTM cards used in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction.

The IPL 2025 Auction took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 24-25, featuring 577 players, including 367 Indians and 210 overseas. At the IPL 2025 mega auction, all 10 franchises collectively spent Rs 639.15 crore, acquiring 182 players, including 62 overseas cricketers, during the two-day event.

Rishabh Pant became the most expensive player at the IPL 2025 auction, with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) securing him for Rs 27 crore. Shreyas Iyer was close behind, joining Punjab Kings for Rs 26.75 crore. Punjab also signed Yuzvendra Chahal and Arshdeep Singh, both for Rs 18 crore each, with Arshdeep being acquired via the right-to-match card. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) spent Rs 23.75 crore on Venkatesh Iyer, reinforcing his status as a leading all-rounder.

A total of eight RTM cards were used during the IPL 2025 auction, with Punjab Kings (PBKS) using the first one to retain Arshdeep Singh for Rs. 18 crore, despite his base price being just Rs. 2 crore. PBKS, along with Delhi Capitals, used the most RTM cards, each utilizing two to secure key players for their squads.
