Mumbai Indians (MI) bowlers completely dismantled the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batting lineup on a pitch that heavily favored bowlers. Taking full advantage of the conditions, MI made quick work of KKR’s top order, leaving them struggling.
MI’s bowling attack was exceptional, taking seven wickets within 70 runs, with half their side dismissed just after the powerplay. Let us look at KKR’s lowest total in IPL history.
Interestingly, the 67 runs that KKR scored against the Mumbai Indians in the first season of the IPL are their lowest total ever. KKR has, however, surpassed the 60-run threshold as of this writing and will undoubtedly surpass the 67-run barrier.
They achieved their second-lowest IPL total of 84/8 against RCB in the 2020 season, and their third-lowest total of 95 against MI in the 2009 tournament.
