Time is ticking, and the countdown has begun for IPL 2025. But before that, teams are set to acquire 20–25 new players for the upcoming season at the IPL 2025 mega auction. The auction is taking place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Initially, the number of players was 574, but with the inclusion of three players—Jofra Archer, Saurabh Netravalkar, and Hardik Tamore—the number has been updated to 577.
