All teams are ready for IPL 2025 after completing squads at the auction.

IPL 2025 Full Squads: The IPL 2025 Auction is finally over. All 10 teams paid a combined ₹639.15 crore at the auction for 182 players. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the most expensive player on Day 2 as RCB paid a whopping Rs 10.75 Cr for the swing king.

On Day 1, Rishabh Pant broke all the records, becoming the most expensive player in IPL history shortly after Shreyas Iyer. LSG picked Pant for Rs 27 Cr while Punjab Kings paid a hefty sum of Rs 26.75 Cr for Shreyas.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK Full Squad)

After retaining their core along with an “uncapped” MS Dhoni, Chennai Super Kings focused on getting their former players back. Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra completed the top order. With Ravichandran Ashwin joining Ravindra Jadeja, CSK now have the best spin attack after the addition of Noor Ahmad. The pace bowling unit looks a little weaker but the likes of Khaleel Ahmed, Sam Curran and Nathan Ellis could make a difference.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR Full Squad)

After losing their captain Shreyas Iyer, everyone expected KKR to go big for a player with a proven captaincy record. But they did not. Rinku Singh, Sunil Narine, and Venkatesh Iyer are likely to fight for captaincy. And whoever leads, he will have the backing of experienced Ajinkya Rahane, Moeen Ali and Manish Pandey. On paper, KKR have a solid squad that can defend the IPL title.

There will be a captaincy power struggle at DC after Rishabh Pant’s departure. The choice is between Axar Patel and KL Rahul. But there is also Faf du Plessis who has a proven record of leading. With a solid batting line-up, DC will be the team to watch out for even though they are a little light in the bowling department.

LSG have moved on from KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant is their likely captain. LSG want flamboyance and that’s what they will get in Nicholas Pooran, David Miller, Ayush Badoni and Rishabh Pant. In the pace department, Mayank Yadav and Mohsin Khan will be regular starters. Avesh Khan can also aid the pace department. Ravi Bishnoi and Shahbaz Ahmed are the likely spinners.

But the decision to go big on Bhuvneshwar Kumar could backfire at a small Chinnaswamy stadium if the conditions don’t support swing.
