Nepal’s U-19 side was steamrolled by India as they were bowled out for just 52 runs in the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2023 match in Dubai. Putting NEP-U19 to bat first having won the toss, IND-U19 wreaked havoc as Raj Limbani tore through the opposition’s batting line-up.
NEP-U19’s first innings was wrapped up in just 22.1 overs. India will now have to chase 53 runs in 50 overs.
Limbani led the charge for India with the ball, as he got the first and last wicket for IND-U19. He finished the game with figures of 7/13 in 9.1 overs. Aaradhya Shukla picked up two wickets while Arshin Atul Kulkarni added one scalp to his name.
Nothing went right for NEP-U19, with not a single batsmen able to go past single digit score. Arjun Kumal and Dipak Bohara scored 7 runs, the highest individual score for the team in the game. Nepal wouldn’t have made it to 50 either if not for the 13 extras conceded by India.
