Leo Messi Transfer: It’s almost certain that PSG forward Lionel Messi will leave the French club in the upcoming summer. The Ligue 1 giants are not in the mood to offer a new contract due to his link-up with his former club Barcelona. The 35-year-old joined the PSG in the summer of 2021 and he is completing his two-year contract in June. Here are some clubs who are keen to get the 35-year-old on board. It also includes non-European clubs.

Chelsea

Chelsea showed their financial power under new ownership when they signed top players in the last two windows. They are going through a bad form and they want someone like Messi to take charge of the attack. Todd Boehly wants to bring the Argentine to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Manchester United

Manchester United are already on sale and the club is looking to get a solid replacement for Ronaldo in the forward position. Man United are ticking all things but they lack in the attack. Messi can add much value to Erik ten Hag’s setup and target the Premier League title next season.

Barcelona

Barcelona are the front runners to sign their legendary man this summer. Messi has an emotional attachment to the club and he can make his return to Camp Nou. The club is organising funds for the biggest summer move. He would love to get back to his former club where he won the maximum number of trophies.

Manchester City

Messi was linked with Man City even last summer and they have tried to get him many times. Pep Guardiola worked with Messi in Barcelona and this reunion would be fascinating. They won trophies together and his pair with Haaland can create a big value in Europan football.

Newcastle United

Newcastle’s entire system has been changed and they are now in the race to play Champions League next season. The new owner would not hesitate to offer a big amount to Messi if he joins the club. The Saudis can convince Messi who is an ambassador for The Kingdom.

Inter Miami

Inter Miami is a MLS team and it’s owned by England legend David Beckham. The club wants the 35-year-old star in Major League Soccer. It would be a big boost if he comes to play in the US. Miami is planning this move from the last 18 months and is ready to offer a good amount.

Al Hilal

Al Hilal is the rival club of Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League. They are also in the race to sign Messi and they are trying to get him since the last transfer window. The Saudi club can offer the 35-year-old forward a good amount to bring the rivalry between Messi-Ronaldo to the Saudi league.

Lionel Messi is getting lot of offers from big clubs but we don’t think he will go for non-European clubs like Inter Miami and Al Hilal. He is 35 years old and he can challenge himself to win more trophies in Europe. Barcelona will be on his priority as the player would look to play the final phase of his career with the club where he transformed his career.
