Legends League Cricket: LLC 2022: Minutes after an official press release from Legends League Cricket claimed that Sourav Ganguly has signed up to play in LLC 2022, he denied it. BCCI President said that news was “not true”. The former India captain was supposed to team up with his old friends Virender Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh besides Irfan Pathan and Yousuf Pathan to form India Legends team. Confirming his participation in Season 2 of Legends League Cricket, Sourav Ganguly said, “It is going to be a lot of fun playing with other legends.”
However, Ganguly told PTI that it was not true. “I am not a part of any Legends League. The news is not true,” Ganguly said.

Earlier many iconic players like Virender Sehwag, Watson, Eoin Morgan, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Harbhajan, Muralitharan, Monty Panesar, amongst many others confirmed their participation to play in the second season of Legends League of Cricket.
