Late Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds’ children turned commentators on Day 2 of the 3rd PAK vs AUS Test, doing a fabulous job with the mic. Australia resumed their 2nd innings on Day 2, frustrating Pakistan further as the visitors managed to get just 2 wickets throughout the day. The play ended early as rain and bad light forced early stumps at the SCG.

Late Symonds also essayed the role of a commentator after his retirement. Earlier, members of the Pakistan team interacted with Symonds’ son ahead of the 3rd Test. In a video uploaded on ‘X’, the likes of Shan Masood, Babar Azam, Muhammad Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf among other Pakistani players are greeting the veteran’s son.
Andrew Symonds died aged 46 after being involved in a car crash last year. The all-rounder played 26 Tests, 198 one-day internationals and 14 Twenty20s for Australia between 1998 and 2009. A powerful batter, canny bowler and fine fielder, Symonds was part of two 50-over World Cup wins and Australia’s Ashes victory over England in 2006-07.
