The Lanka Premier League (LPL) will commence on July 1 and continue until July 21. LPL has signed a deal with FanCode for the digital live streaming of the tournament for the next three years.
Speaking about the signed deal, Prasana Krishnan, Co-founder of FanCode, said, “We are excited to expand our cricket portfolio with the addition of the Lanka Premier League. There will be five teams in the tournament: Jaffna Kings, Colombo Strikers, Galle Titans, Dambulla Thunders, and Kandy.
International performers include Glenn Phillips, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, and Rilee Roussouw, coupled with top-tier Sri Lankan talent like Wanindu Hasaranga, Matheesha Pathirana, and Maheesh Theekshana. There will be games at Colombo, Jaffna, Galle, Kandy, and Dambulla.
