It was Mayers’ innings that gave LSG early momentum and currently, Ayush Badoni and Marcus Stoinis are firing on all cylinders, cruising for LSG to post a mammoth total. Badoni and Stoinis have helped LSG maintain an excellent scoring rate. Badoni and Stoinis stitched a 50-run partnership in just 25 balls as LSG go past 150 in just 13 overs.
Notably, LSG faced a disappointing defeat in their previous fixture and is aiming to get back to winning ways. The Giants were on course for a one-sided win over Gujarat Titans when the side’s scoring rate dropped in the middle overs while chasing a target of 136 runs. KL Rahul fell in the last over of the match as the side lost by 7 runs.
