Ahead of the all important ODI World Cup 2023, India star spinner Kuldeep Yadav made a visit to the Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh on September 19, along with his family, seeking the blessings of the spiritual leader, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. Kuldeep Yadav has long been known as a devoted follower of Guru Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. This visit to seek blessings was not the first time the Indian cricket star paid his visit to the spiritual leader. Kuldeep has made previous visits to Guru Dhirendra Kumar Shastri, showing his deep faith and connection to the spiritual teachings offered by the revered guru.

After an outstanding performance that earned him the Player-of-the-Series title at the Asia Cup, Kuldeep Yadav is currently brimming with confidence. Looking ahead to the upcoming World Cup, the Indian team management has made the decision to give him some rest by excluding him from the first two ODIs against Australia. This move is motivated by their desire to manage his workload carefully, ensuring he isn’t overexposed. He will included in the final ODI.

Kuldeep Yadav had an impressive performance in the Asia Cup, securing nine wickets in five matches with an outstanding average of 11.44 and an economical bowling rate of 3.61. Notably, the majority of these wickets were picked between two exceptional displays.

He started his outstanding form with a remarkable five-wicket haul against Pakistan, contributing to India’s record-breaking 228-run victory. He then continued to shine by taking four wickets in India’s successful defense of a modest total of 213 against Sri Lanka. Kuldeep’s exceptional control and versatile bowling style garnered praise from both coaches and cricket experts.
