He admitted to a period of struggle where his confidence may have overshadowed valuable guidance. “I was very egoistic,” he confessed in an earlier interview. Learning from Experience and Captain’s Support

The spinner acknowledged the impact of MS Dhoni’s absence on his bowling. “After Dhoni retired, my performance wasn’t great,” he said. However, he praised the guidance of current captain Rohit Sharma. “Rohit bhai has always supported me,” Yadav said, highlighting Sharma’s constant communication and clear expectations. This support system, coupled with his own determination, proved to be a winning formula for Kuldeep Yadav.
