Ganguly and Kohli have a long frosty relationship. It was under Ganguly’s reign as BCCI president that Kohli was sacked as captain across formats. The RCB star and Ganguly had a public fallout with both accusing each other of peddling lies. Ganguly himself later got sacked, with Roger Binny now the president of the Indian Cricket board.
Ganguly has since returned to the Delhi Capitals as the director of cricket. Tempers flared up in Kohli’s den as the two Indian cricket giants went head to head again. Kohli scored a stroke-full half-century and celebrated like he made a statement against the man who led to his removal as Indian captain. In the field he was as energetic as ever, even pictured giving a hard glance to a dejected Ganguly.

The former BCCI President is no forgetful man himself. After the match, as the teams shook hands, Ganguly avoided shaking Kohli’s hand which was caught on camera. The two seemed to have ignored each other’s presence, with Virat even having hearty interactions with the Delhi Capitals players.
