Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma stayed at Baba Neem Karoli Ashram in Vrindavan for about an hour. They had ‘darshan’ of Baba’s ‘samadhi’, besides meditating in a ‘kutia’ (hut). Kohli and his family also obliged their fans by giving autographs and posing for photographs with them. They also donated blankets at the ashram, as per reports.
In a viral video, as Anushka and Virat sought blessings from the baba, Vamika was also with them. An attendant came in and wrapped a ‘chunni’ (cloth) around Anushka. After spending time at the Baba Neem Karoli Ashram, the family left for the Maa Anandamayi Ashram. Anushka’s family has been a follower of Baba Neem Karoli.

Both Virat and Anushka had earlier visited Uttarakhand to seek Baba Neem Karoli’s blessings in November 2022. It is believed that Anushka had vowed to visit the ashram after the birth of Vamika. Anushka incidentally had also shared a picture of the Baba and his saying, after Kohli broke his three-year century drought at the 2022 Asia Cup.
To note, Kohli has been named in the Indian squad set to take on SriLanka in a three-match ODI series. The first match of the series will be played on January 10 in Guwahati. Hence, Kohli will not be available for his daughter’s birthday falling on January 11. The Men in Blue are slated to move to Kolkata for the second ODI game slated to be played on January 12.
