For the unversed, Tendulkar and Kohli have often called in separately in public events to inaugurate temples, hotels, and collages. Recently, a life-size statue was inaugurated of Tendulkar at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. The legendary batter inaugurated the statue ahead of India’s semi-final clash against New Zealand in the recently concluded World Cup.

Recently, Kohli also broke Tendulkar’s record of a long-standing record of 49 ODI centuries. It was straight out of the fairytale movie as Kohli broke the record in front of his idol at the Wankhede Stadium. Kohli bowed to Tendulkar after passing the historic landmark. In the World Cup finale also Tendulkar was one of the VIP guests to watch the IND vs AUS final.

The result did not go in India’s favor, but the former India captain consoled the team members and congratulated them for having a terrific campaign. That was the last time Tendulkar and Kohli came under the same roof.
