Earlier in the game, Kohli who took some sensational catches silenced the Lucknow crowd as he repeated Gambhir’s actions after LSG’s victory over RCB at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Remember, LSG had came out victorious over the Red Army in their previous clash in one of the most thrilling encounters ever witnessed in the franchise-based league.
“We did pretty well, restricting them to 126 was a great bowling effort. Really happy with how we have bowled in this tournament. We would have taken 126 but batting-wise we did not execute our plans. It is such a sad thing he pulled his hip-flexor. I don’t know how bad it is, the medical team will assess it,” LSG stand-in skipper Krunal Pandya said after the match.
