KL Rahul completed his 8th Test century in the ongoing IND vs SA 1st Test. On a track where all the batters struggled, KL Rahul was calm and composed as he faced some high-quality bowling from the South African pacers. The right-handed batter achieved his century with a massive six to pacer Gerald Coetzee.
KL Rahul also became the first visiting batter to score two hundreds in Centurion. He also joined the likes of Virat Kohli, Thilan Samaraweera, Azhar Mahmood for having two centuries in South Africa as an Asian batter.
Meanwhile, India have been bundled out for 245 in 67.4 overs, and KL Rahul top-scored with 101 runs from 137 balls before getting knocked over by the debutant Nandre Burger, who also impressed with a three-for. The visitors added 37 crucial runs on Day 2 as India finished on 245 runs in their first innings.
