Several media reports suggested that Virat Kohli had gifted a Rs 2-crore worth BMW while MS Dhoni presented the new couple with a Kawasaki Ninja bike. The couple also reportedly received a luxurious house in Mumbai worth Rs 50 Cr. But the families confirmed to Bombay Times that it was all rubbish.

“All the reports published are absolutely baseless and not true. We request the press fraternity to confirm details with us before publishing such incorrect information in public domain,” the families told Bombay Times.

Athiya-Rahul’s honeymoon plans delayed

With the marriage done and dusted, KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty haven’t made confirmation regarding their honeymoon. Rahul will began his preparations for the upcoming India vs Australia series.

The Border Gavaskar trophy will get underway from February 9th.

With the high-profile series coming up it is unlikely that the couple will go to a honeymoon anytime soon.  The Australia tour of India will conclude on March 22 after the conclusion of four Test matches and three ODIs.

Following the Australia series, Indian players will be having a rest for 10 days before IPL 2023 season begins on March 31. The couple have also planned to host a grand reception in Mumbai during IPL for Bollywood celebrities and cricketers.
