The right-hander, attempting to chip Avesh Khan’s delivery to mid-off, fell victim to Sai Sudharsan impeccable timing and agility. Klaasen could only manage 21 runs off 22 balls before his departure.

After the third ODI against South Africa, India’s stand-in fielding coach, Ajay Ratra, faced a unique dilemma. KL Rahul, who claimed six catches in the match, was a strong contender for the Impact Fielder award.

However, the captain selflessly directed Ratra to present the award to Sai Sudharsan, acknowledging the exceptional catch that added to India’s fielding brilliance.

Giving the award in dressing room, India fielding coach Ajay Ratra told that Team India took 12 catches. India captain and wicket-keeper KL Rahul took 6 catches, while Sanju Samson took 2 catches (1 as wicket-keeper and 1 as fielder) while Sai Sudarshan took 1 catch in 3rd ODI match which was surely too exceptional to be ignored.
