Amid the buzz, LSG owner Sanjeev Goenka has called a press conference on Wednesday in Kolkata. KL Rahul’s future in the franchise is likely to be addressed in the press conference.

KL Rahul to exit LSG?

Earlier on Monday, Rahul met Sanjeev Goenka, fuelling speculations over his retention. It is pertinent to note that all was not well between the LSG owner and the skipper in IPL 2024. Goenka was seen giving an earful to KL Rahul following the 10-wicket thrashing at the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 8. The incident sparked rumours of the franchise being unhappy with KL Rahul and wanting to part ways with the star before IPL 2025.
