At the end of his innings, KL Rahul managed to score 39 runs from 32 deliveries, batting with a strike rate of 121.88. His innings consisted of 4 boundaries and 1 six. But the stats show something else. Rahul got off to a slow start when he played a maiden over against RR speedster Trent Boult.
Since 2014, there have been a total of 27 first over maidens and the Indian batter has managed to play 11 of them. While his partner Kyle Mayers too batted slowly, the latter managed to end his innings after registering a fifty.
