K. N. Lokesh is the father to two children, a son, the cricketer himself, and a daughter named Bhawna. KL Rahul’s father, K. N. Lokesh was a huge fan of the cricketer Sunil Gavaskar. He even wanted to name his son, Rahul after Gavaskar’s son but mixed up Rohan Gavaskar’s name as Rahul.
The skipper of LSG (Lucknow Super Giants) Rahul’s father is specialised in the field of academics for the past three decades, it was tough for K.N Lokesh to see his son drift away to cricket. Though, after his son’s selection to India’s Test Team in the 2014 tour of Australia, he couldn’t be happier.

KL Rahul has invited Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) coach Gautam Gambhir and owner Sanjeev Goenka to the wedding. Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and the rest of the Indian team will be absent because of international commitments.
