Prominent Indian cricketer KL Rahul and his wife Athiya Shetty, have purchased a 3,350-square-foot property in Mumbai’s upscale Pali Hill neighborhood, part of the Bandra (West) suburb. According to the reports, the couple paid Rs 20 crore for the property.
Pali Hill is home to some of the most recognizable names in the Hindi film industry, as well as business. Last month, actor Aamir Khan purchased another apartment in the neighborhood for Rs 9.75 crore, with Khan already owning several properties in the area.
Among others, Shahrukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Salman Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Tripti Dimri all have apartments in Bandra. As reported by the documents, KL Rahul and Athiya have paid a stamp duty of INR 1.20 crore and a registration fee of INR 30,000 to confirm the purchase of their new home.
The property measuring 3,350 sq ft is located on the second floor of the ground-plus-18 floors of Sandhu Palace building in Pali Hill area in Bandra, according to the documents. The property is part of the Sandhu Palace development, constructed by Sandhu Builders, a local developer.
