Conway has been in emphatic form in the competition as he has now stroked four fifties on the trot. Coming to bat in Eden Gardens, the left-handed batter looked in sublime touch as he pounced on anything loose bowl to him. He played a valuable knock of 56 runs in just 40 balls before being dismissed by Varun Chakravarthy. His innings included four fours and three big sixes.
Due to his excellent form with the bat, Conway has now reached second in the most runs list of IPL 2023. The Kiwi batter is just behind Faf du Plessis who is sitting comfortably at the top of the table. Speaking about his numbers in IPL 2023, the left-handed batter has played seven innings and has amassed 296 runs so far. He averages 59.20 with his strike rate being 145.09. Conway has the highest score of 83 runs which came against RCB recently.
