There is limited information available about Shruti Raghunathan. Nonetheless, as per sources, she has graduated with a B.Com from PSG College of Arts and Science and holds a Master’s degree in Fashion Management from NIFT, India. Currently, she is employed as a Merchandise Planner at Lifestyle International Private Limited in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Iyer came into the spotlight in 2021 with standout performances at the top of the order, playing a pivotal role in guiding KKR to the final in Dubai. Although KKR lost to Chennai Super Kings in the final match, Iyer emerged as one of the rising talents in the league.

Over the following six months, Iyer experienced a dream-like journey. At the age of 26, he was selected as one of the net bowlers for India during the 2021 T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates and subsequently earned a spot in the Indian T20I team for the first time, facing New Zealand at home. From November 2021 to February 2022, Iyer participated in nine T20Is and two ODIs for India.

Despite his initial success, the 28-year-old struggled to make an impact when given limited opportunities due to an injury to all-rounder Hardik Pandya. His last appearance for India was against Sri Lanka in February 2022. Nevertheless, he ultimately secured a place in India’s gold medal-winning squad at the Asian Games in 2023.
