Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) acquired 10 new players in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Auction to revamp their team for the upcoming season. KKR have made two significant changes, with former champion captain Gautam Gambhir joining as the coach. Additionally, there is a change in leadership, as Shreyas Iyer takes over the captaincy from Nitish Rana.
KKR added Australia’s pacer Mitchell Starc at INR 24.75 crore to make him the most expensive player in IPL history.
Apart from Starc, KKR have bought nine more players to their squad. Manish Pandey returned to the side. While, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Gus Atkinson, and Chetan Sakariya are included to strengthen their bowling line-up.
