IPL 2021 – KKR Playing XI vs SRH: Eoin Morgan led Kolkata Knight Riders continues to wait on the fitness of Andre Russell and Lockie Ferguson and will be hoping to be at their best against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Dubai tomorrow. They suffered 5 wickets defeat against Punjab Kings in their previous outing and any more slips can shut the door of qualification to the IPL 2021 playoffs for the two-time champion side. So, will they rope in Shakib Al Hasan to bring the balance in the playing XI? Follow IPL 2021 live updates on Insidesport.co and live streaming on Star Sports & Hotstar.
KKR Playing XI vs SRH: With no update on Russell and Ferguson, Can Shakib make a cut against SRH?
IPL 2021 – KKR Playing XI vs SRH: Why Shakib should feature against SRH: Andre Russell has been a match-winning all-rounder for Kolkata Knight Riders over the past couple of seasons. His unavailability leaves a big void in the lower middle order as well as death over bowling attack for KKR. Eoin Morgan’s side tested Tim Siefert in the previous against Punjab Kings but the Kiwi wicketkeeper batsmen couldn’t impress as he went out cheaply after being run out. While it will be unfair for Siefert to be dropped out after just one game, time seems to be running out for KKR. They need an all-rounder who can bat in the lower middle order and also chip in with the ball just like Andre Russell. And, Shakib Al Hasan seems to be a perfect replacement for it.

Sitting fourth in the table with ten points in eleven games, Kolkata Knight Riders faced 5 wickets defeat against Punjab Kings (PBKS) the other night. However, Eoin Morgan’s side is still in contention and needs to win the remaining two encounters against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals handsomely to advance into the knockout stage.
