The Gambhir connection with Andre Russell and Sunil Narine

The KKR mentor has also played a crucial role in establishing Andre Russell’s image as a key finisher for any side. Speaking to Sportskeeda, Gambhir elaborate on how the Caribbean duo were important to the KKR setup.

Whether I got them in or someone else is irrelevant now. What is relevant is what they did after arriving in the side. It is the duty of the captain to bring a good player to the side. There have been many players who have not performed well for the franchises. Russell and Narine are ab integral part of KKR, it has become a part of their identity. They are valuable assets that KKR should keep secure,” Gambhir said.
