Indian cricketer Sanju Samson had a fanboy moment on Wednesday as he met his ‘hero’ MS Dhoni in Mumbai. Samson, who is leading Kerala in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, met ‘Thala’ Dhoni in a hotel in Mumbai.
Notably, the 28-year-old also met his Rajasthan Royals’ teammate and England skipper Jos Buttler, who reached with the squad in Mumbai for ENG vs SA World Cup clash on October 21.
Samson posted a photo of himself with Dhoni and Buttler on his official Instagram account, captioning it, “2 of my favourites”.
While MS Dhoni is in Mumbai for his advertisement commitments, Buttler is leading the England side in the World Cup. The defending champions have won just one out of their first three games.
Meanwhile, Samson has travelled with Kerala squad to Mumbai for the match against Bihar in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The wicket-keeper batter is eyeing a comeback in the national squad after being dropped for the Asia Cup and World Cup. However, Samson couldn’t make a good start to his domestic campaign as he departed for 1 against Himachal Pradesh. Samson was caught by Ekant Sen off Mukul Negi in
the 12th over.
