Senior batter Virat Kohli brought out his best against West Indies in the second Test match being played at the Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad. The right-handed batter smashed his 29th Test century and overall his 76th international ton. To note, Kohli is also playing his 500th international match as he previously went past South Africa Jacques Kallis for most runs in the international arena.

On Day 1, Kohli played his trademark cover drives and hit 8 fours on a heavy outfield to remain unbeaten on 87 in 161 deliveries. Coming to bat on Day 2, the right-handed batter looked more pro-active in the middle as he smashed a boundary on the bowling of express pacer Shannon Gabriel to complete another emphatic ton.
On the other hand, Kohli found an able partner in form of Ravindra Jadeja who also completed his fifty. The duo has stitched a 100+ runs stand together and will want to continue their good efforts with the bat. Meanwhile, team India lead has went past 300-run mark as the visitors are completely dominating the proceedings on Day 2.
