Former England skipper Kevin Pietersen is in India currently and is playing in the Legends League Cricket for India Capitals. A legend in his own right, Pietersen, on Friday, smashed his way to a 27-ball 56 including five sixes and two fours. In short, his innings was a reminder of what he was capable of doing. With the IPL auction approaching soon, Pietersen did not miss an opportunity to present his case, of course in a jocular way.
He tweeted his video of carnage, and captioned it, “Last night. How do I enter the IPL auction?.”

The stylish batsman is enjoying a stellar season at the LLC and has scored 169 runs at an average of 42. What is even more remarkable is his strike rate, which is a touch below 180. As far as his international career is concerned, he played 104 Tests scoring 8181 runs at an average of 47. In ODIs, he played 136 matches, and scored 4440 runs. He had 24 centuries to his name as well.
