Chennai Rhinos edged Telugu Warriors with a higher NRR to make way into CCL Playoffs

The CCL Playoffs are set, marking the culmination of the tenth season of the Celebrity Cricket League. After three weekends of intense league phase action, the tournament now features the top four teams: Karnataka Bulldozers, Bengal Tigers, Mumbai Heroes, and Chennai Rhinos in the CCL 2024 Playoffs.

In a new turn from previous editions, the CCL playoffs will adopt a format similar to T20 leagues like the Indian Premier League (IPL). The playoff stage will consist of four matches: qualifier 1, eliminator, qualifier 2, and the highly anticipated final.

The playoffs will kick off with the Eliminator, where the third-placed Chennai Rhinos will face off against the fourth-placed Mumbai Heroes on Friday, March 15, at 2 PM IST.

Following this, the Qualifier 1 clash between the first-placed Karnataka Bulldozers and the second-placed Bengal Tigers will take place on the same day at 6:30 PM IST.

On Saturday, March 16, the action continues with the Qualifier 2 match, featuring the winner of the Eliminator against the loser of Qualifier 1, at 6:30 PM IST.

Finally, the climax of the tournament will unfold on Sunday, March 17, with the Final showdown between the winner of Qualifier 1 and the winner of Qualifier 2, also at 6:30 PM IST.
