Indian batter Shikhar Dhawan took a dig at the Pakistani batter Mohammad Rizwan after he tried to steal a quick single during the NZ vs PAK 3rd T20I recently. Speaking about the instance, Rizwan tried to complete a quick single, but he lost his bat on the way and tried to cross the crease at the non-striker end with his glove.

Despite his efforts, Mohammad Rizwan was denied the single as he could not cross the crease with the glove and was signaled a short run by the umpire. Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan took the opportunity to troll the Pakistani batter as he also gave a hilarious caption to his post.

Recently, Dhawan expressed that he was shocked over his snub from India’s squad for the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, last year. “When my name was not there (for Asian Games), I was a bit shocked. But, then, I was like they have a different thought process, you just have to accept it. I have not spoken to any selector (about my future). I keep going to NCA. I enjoy my time there. The facilities are great. NCA has shaped my career, and I am grateful for it,” Dhawan told TOI.
