‘Justice for Sanju Samson’, fans blast India World Cup 2023 squad selection

‘Justice for Sanju Samson’, fans blast India World Cup 2023 squad selection

Samson averages 55.71 in ODIs, while his contemporaries, Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan, average 24.3 and 48.50, respectively.

Sanju Samson fans are asking for justice for the wicketkeeper batter after he was not selected in the 15-man squad for the World Cup 2023. Earlier, Samson was not included in the Asia Cup 2023 squad but travelled to Sri Lanka as a reserve despite KL Rahul not being fully fit.

Samson has played 13 matches in ODIs and has an astounding average of 55.71, but finds himself out of luck once again as Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan find themselves ahead on the pecking order despite making their debut much later than the Kerala batter did.

Fans question Sanju Samson’s exclusion from the World Cup 2023 Squad
