There was a certain Cameron Green who won over the fans and Indian Premier League with some blazing knocks against India. And Josh Inglis has followed suit. In the IND vs AUS 1st T20 in Vishakhapatnam, Inglis blew Indian attack away, with a blazing 47-ball maiden T20I century. he took a special liking of Prasidh Krishna, going hammer and tongs against the pacer. With IPL 2024 Auction coming up next month, he has definitely made an impression on the fans and IPL franchises.

His shots were such that India captain Suryakumar Yadav could not help but applaud. With seven big sixes, Josh Inglis had the fans on their toes throughout and bamboozled India’s novice bowling attack. After a sluggish start, he pounced on Indian bowlers, rushing to half-century milestone in just 29 balls.

The next 50 runs came off at even higher pace as Josh Inglis took just 18 more deliveries to complete his century. He went on to score 110 off 50 balls that included eight sixes and 11 boundaries as he scored at a whopping 220.00 strike rate.

Josh Inglis did try his luck in IPL auction last season. However, he was not picked. This time though, there could be a lot of takers for him if he continues to play such knocks throughout IND vs AUS T20 series.
