Fiery England pacer Jofra Archer makes instant impact on his return to cricket. The premium pacer has been out of action for a considerable amount of time owing to injury. Archer bowled a deadly inswinger that perfectly the trapped the batter and sent him packing for a lbw.

Archer is yet to play professional cricket since May 2023. He joined England’s ODI World Cup but continued his training. He continued to do the same when England toured West Indies last month.

Is Jofra Archer playing IPL 2024?

Jofra Archer was not retained by Mumbai Indians after he claimed to be absent for the entire tournament. Not only him, the ECB decided on workload for quite a few players that included England Test skipper Ben Stokes.

England’s director of Cricket Rob Key has claimed that their plan that Archer wanted to play in IPL. But the ECB asked him not to. The Three Lions are unwilling to put extra pressure on the player who has been injury plagued for the last couple of years.
