The rumours of Archer having a surgery in Belgium spread like fire as his side MI were taking on Gujarat Titans on April 25. If reports were found to be true then this might have been Archer’s fifth surgery in last 25 months. However, the England’s speedster has now rubbished all the claims.
Putting out an article without knowing the facts & without my consent is crazy.
Who ever the reporter is shame on you , an already worrying and troubling time for a player and you exploit it for your personal gain, it’s people like you that are the problem .

Kit Harris quoted Jofra’s Tweet with these facts. He revealed that Archer’s employer ECB provided the said information.

To this, Jofra then replied with the below statement.
You’re making it sound like the ecb told him and he published it , when that is not what happened . So unless you know something that I don’t please shed some light .

Archer played his last IPL match against Punjab Kings recently. The right-arm pacer looked fit during the game and clocked 145 kmph at regular intervals. However, he went on to concede 42 runs and picked up 1 wicket in his quota of 4 overs. To note, the five-time champions are already without Jasprit Bumrah and Jhye Richardson in this IPL edition.
After losing their previous clash against the defending champions GT, the five-time champions are slated to take on Rajasthan Royals in their home encounter at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. The match will be played on April 30. Meanwhile, MI will be hoping that Archer is fully fit for the clash and manages to take some crucial wickets with the ball.
