India Split Captaincy Debate: Why split captaincy is a big no in India – BCCI and the selectors feel there should be a single captain in all formats due to continuity. Kohli was also removed from ODI captaincy after he relinquished the T20 captaincy. As of yet BCCI have are not keen to have two captains for different formats.
