Jasprit Bumrah made an immediate impact, coming into bowl the sixth over after Arshdeep Singh had already delivered two early strikes to the Irish side. Starting his spell with a remarkable maiden over, Bumrah surpassed fellow speedster Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s all-time record.
With this being his 11th maiden over in T20Is Bumrah now holds the record for the most maiden overs bowled in T20Is among Test-playing nations, one more than the previous record-holder Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
