Premium Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah revealed that the yorker was the first delivery he learnt as a youngster. Bumrah picked up nine wickets in the IND vs ENG 2nd Test as the hosts romped home to a 106-run win against England.

Speaking at the post-match presentation, Bumrah provided an insight into when he first bowled a yorker. The pacer added that he had done so seeing legends like Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram and Zaheer Khan bowl.
“As I said before, I don’t look at numbers. As a youngster I did that and it made me excited. But now it’s an added baggage. As a youngster that is the first delivery I learned (yorker). Had seen the legends of the game. Waqar, Wasim and even Zaheer Khan,” Bumrah said.
Bumrah had the last laugh as he got rid of the defiant Hartley in the 2nd innings to seal the game for India. The pacer finished the game with figures of 3-46. In the 1st innings, finished with incredible figures of 6-45.
