Jasprit Bumrah hammered the final nail in the coffin for Australia as he picked up his 13th five-wicket haul on Day 5 of IND vs AUS 4th Test in Melbourne. India took just 10 deliveries after the game resumed to wrap up Australia innings as Lyon was clean bowled by the Indian pacer. The visitors now need 340 runs to win the game.
Bumrah gets another fifer, India need 340 runs to win 4th Test
Bumrah managed to uproot Nathan Lyon’s middle stump in order to finally wrap up the Australian innings. Earlier on Day 4, tailenders Lyon and Boland frustrated India with a 50-run partnership. The Indian pacer managed to briefly register his 13th five-wicket haul on Day 4 after dismissing the tailender by getting him caught out at the slips, only for the umpire to signal a no-ball.

Bumrah had a long day on Sunday as he bowled 9 spells, rewarding himself with four wickets. The premium pacer, by far, has been the best bowler for India in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy series and is the leading wicket-taker.
Despite bowling excellently well, India could not skittle out the Aussie tail, and that meant, from 91/6, they took the score to 197/9, taking the lead past 300. The misery did not end there for India as Scott Boland and Nathan Lyon remained unbeaten on Day 4, as they two took the team to 228/9.
