Jasprit Bumrah proud as wife Sanjana Ganesan resumes broadcast duty

Bumrah's public acknowledgment of his wife's professional achievements adds a personal touch to their relationship, setting couple goals for many admirers.

Indian cricket sensation Jasprit Bumrah expressed his delight as his wife, Sanjana Ganesan, resumed her broadcasting duties in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024. Sanjana Ganesan, known for her successful stint as a presenter, joined the esteemed broadcasting panel alongside Anjum Chopra, Mel Jones, and Natalie Germanos for the WPL 2024 opener between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

Taking to his Instagram story, India star cricketer Jasprit Bumrah shared his joy, describing wife Sanjana Ganesan as “the best in the world” and commending her precision in broadcasting.

He wrote: “So good @sanjanaganesan. The best in the world is back at work.”

The couple tied the knot in March 2021, with Bumrah temporarily stepping away from the Indian team during the home series against England. Last September, they welcomed a baby boy into their family.

Sanjana Ganesan and Jasprit Bumrah: Couple Goals

Sanjana Ganesan has been a familiar face in the cricketing world, having previously worked with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Bumrah’s public acknowledgment of his wife’s professional achievements adds a personal touch to their relationship, setting couple goals for many admirers.

While Ganesan shines in her broadcasting role, Jasprit Bumrah, one of the world’s premier fast bowlers, has been in exceptional form on the cricket field. He recently claimed the Player of the Series award against South Africa, emerging as the leading wicket-taker in the Test series.

Currently, he holds the top position as the highest wicket-taker in the ongoing Test series against England.

Jasprit Bumrah on rest

Despite his extraordinary success, Bumrah is taking a well-deserved break from the Test squad in the ongoing match against England in Ranchi, a decision made by the BCCI to manage his workload effectively. Looking ahead, Bumrah is anticipated to play a pivotal role in the T20 World Cup 2024, scheduled to take place in the West Indies and the USA later this year.

As Jasprit Bumrah continues to dazzle on the field, his support for Sanjana Ganesan in her broadcasting career showcases a perfect blend of professional success and personal happiness in this power couple’s journey.
