Jasprit Bumrah has missed past couple of months of cricket following the back injury. He was also left out for the Sri Lanka series as well with doubts over him regaining full fitness. The National Cricket Academy has also arranged special session for India’s premier fast bowler.  Before heading for the vacation, Bumrah had released a video of himself bowling at his best during a net session. Judging by the video the pacer looks to be coming back to his best.

Jasprit Bumrah set to make comeback for New Zealand series

Team India has received a major boost with Jasprit Bumrah being close to full fitness. The BCCI were hoping to get him back on the field for the New Zealand series next month. But if the selectors want to delay, then he is a sure-shot for the NZ series,”. BCCI had earlier committed a mistake of rushing Bumrah back from injury. The pacer’s absence was felt during T20 World Cup where India made semi-final exit. This time around the board will be cautious of drafting him back into the team with the ODI World Cup set to take place this year.
