With chances fully here that if Rohit Sharma doesn’t play the first Test match against Australia, then Jasprit Bumrah will take charge. So, what does Jasprit Bumrah's captaincy record say? Take a look.

If reports are to be believed, there is a strong chance that India’s regular Test captain, Rohit Sharma, might not play in the first Test match against Australia due to personal reasons, which opens the door for Jasprit Bumrah to lead India. Bumrah, already established as one of India’s most important fast bowlers, doesn’t need much introduction for his bowling, but his captaincy may need a few games to grow. In a country where fast bowlers have rarely captained, the best example that comes to mind is Kapil Dev, who led the team to success. After him, however, there haven’t been many bowler-captained India, yes, Anil Kumble captained in 2008, but apart from that, there aren’t any big examples. Since Bumrah is now expected to lead the Indian team, does he have any experience in leading a team? Certainly, Bumrah has captained India in a couple of games, let’s take a look at his captaincy record.
