Infamous English fan known for disrupting cricket matches, ‘Jarvo’ has been banned by the International Cricket Council (ICC) from attending further matches of the ODI World Cup 2023.
British prankster Daniel Jarvo (also known as Jarvo 69) disrupted the IND vs AUS match in Chennai. Jarvo had decided to step into the ground after India sent Australian opener Mitchell Marsh to the pavilion. While donning the Indian jersey, Jarvo made his way into the middle.
To not let the flow of the game be disrupted, former Indian skipper Virat Kohli decided to step in. Kohli was seen talking and perhaps calming things down as the security threw Jarvo out of the ground.
Jarvo has interrupted several Indian matches in the past, especially during the India tour of England in 2021.

Fan disruptions in sports are not as uncommon as people think
Fan disruption during prominent sports events is not uncommon, and organisations like ‘Just Stop Oil’ have even made a habit of protesting during high-profile matches.
In this year alone, Just Stop Oil has caused a commotion at several big events like Wimbledon, F1 and Cricket.
Several sportsmen have come out against this blatant disregard for players’ personal space. Fans, players, and pundits have also expressed concerns over a potentially violent attack or outcome due to these disruptions.
