India provided a befitting response to England pacer James Anderson who had earlier claimed that the side would attempt to chase down the target on Day 4 in 60 overs. The visitors were bundled out in 69.2 overs as India clinched a 106-run victory in the IND vs ENG 2nd Test.
The best part of the spectacle was that despite making such tall claims, it was Anderson who was left stranded alone at the end of the game, staring at defeat.

“We feel well in the game. We got sat down by the coach Brendon McCullum last night and he said ‘If India get 600 ahead we’re going to try and chase it down’. That’s exactly what we’re going to do. We will try to chase down 399 in 60 or 70 overs tomorrow,” James Anderson told TNT Sport
