‘It’s never about money: KL Rahul quashes rumors of players preferring IPL over international cricket

KL Rahul will lead the Indian contingent in the upcoming IND vs SA ODI series starting on December 17.

Senior batter KL Rahul has spoken on the mis-guided perception of player choosing money over their country. In an interview with mensxpoffcial, KL Rahul said that there’s a big perception that players having a good contract in IPL do not care about their career in the international arena.

There’s a huge perception about cricketers that just because we have big contracts and we get paid a lot of money for playing IPL that we don’t care about our performance or we do not care about the sport. It was never the thing for us or it was never about the money,” said KL Rahul.
